Marcus Bowcott lives and works in Vancouver BC as a painter and a sculptor. His paintings often explore relationships between natural and industrial landscapes. His recent sculptural works question the impact of consumption and mass transportation on our society and ecology. Bowcott has received many grants and awards including those from The Canada Council, The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation and The British Columbia Arts Council. His works are part of corporate collections and public collections, including The Canada Council Art Bank, Citizenship and Immigration Canada and The Vancouver Art Gallery.
